Jesse Norman is the Financial Secretary to the Treasury, the minister in the Treasury team responsible for tax, infrastructure and customs policy. First elected in 2010, Jesse has held a number of roles across government and parliament including as Chair of the Digital, Media, and Sport Committee in 2015.
With the post-Brexit landscape still settling and the fiscal challenges of paying back emergency COVID spending Jesse Norman has a role central to the governments programme. From freeports to infrastructure investment, the Financial Secretary holds the purse strings for some of the biggest and most eye catching spending that a government can make. I’m delighted that Jesse has agreed to join us for a wide ranging discussion and to answer your questions about tax and trade policy after the pandemic.
